The African Institute of Biomedical Science and Technology (AiBST) is a pan-African biomedical initiative that aims to promote the sciences and technologies of drug discovery and development on the continent. Its vision, mission and objectives are all aimed at addressing Africa's healthcare challenges with respect to infrastructure, skilled human resource base to support science and technology (S&T) and innovation, research and development (R&D) capacity, and economic viability of biomedical services and products.
